PASSPORT PHOTOS NEAR YOU OR FROM HOME

Choose where.
Know what you’ll receive.

Need someone to take your photo, a digital file for an application, or a place to print a photo you already have? Those are three different jobs. Start with the one you need.

Find a local service Prepare from home
CHOOSE YOUR ROUTE

Merodim is an online service. We do not operate walk-in photo locations or receive passport applications.

Find a local passport photo service.

Use the provider’s own location search. Confirm photo-service hours before traveling.

USPS

Use the appointment search and passport-photo filter to find a participating Post Office. Check the service and appointment availability for your location.

Find USPS photo services

Walgreens

Check the official passport-photo service page for participating stores, current prices and what is included in the print and digital package.

CVS

CVS offers passport photos at select locations. Its official page explains the print package and digital-copy options. Confirm availability at the store you plan to visit.

Ask for the output your application needs.

Before visiting, ask whether the price covers taking the photo, how many prints you receive and whether the digital file is included. A photo emailed to you and a pair of printed photos are different deliverables.

If your application uses another country’s format, give the provider the exact instructions. If you are bringing a baby or need an accessible setup, discuss that before you travel so the location can confirm what it can offer.

Bring the photo requirement, not just the document name.

Check whether your application asks for a physical print or an original digital upload. A photo of a printed sheet is not a substitute for the camera original. US online renewal has its own upload and positioning process.

Delivery is estimated at 2–3 days, not guaranteed for a particular appointment. If you need prints today, confirm a local provider’s turnaround before ordering.

Printing your file is a separate service.

A store’s passport-photo package usually starts with a new photograph taken there. Ordering a normal photo print from your own file is a different workflow. Ask the store whether it accepts your prepared sheet and check its cropping settings before paying.

Choose the exact paper size used by the layout. A 4 × 6 sheet should not be fitted to a larger page or cropped to fill a different ratio. Check one print with a ruler before cutting the photos.

Choose for the situation you have.

  • For help taking the photo, use an in-person service.
  • For a suitable photo already on your phone, preview the preparation at home.
  • For a baby, allow time for a calm second attempt rather than booking against a deadline.
  • For an urgent appointment, prioritize confirmed collection time over a shipping estimate.

The useful comparison is the complete cost and deliverable, including any digital copy, printing, delivery and travel.

Choosing a passport photo service.

Does Merodim have a passport photo shop near me?

Merodim is online. You upload a suitable photo, inspect a free preview and choose digital files or US delivery. Use the official provider links above when you need a walk-in location.

Can I get passport photos today?

A local service may be able to take and print a photo the same day. Confirm its actual availability. Merodim's delivered prints should not be ordered on the assumption they will arrive that day.

Can I print a Merodim sheet at Walgreens or CVS?

Check with the location or print service before ordering. Retailer policies and cropping controls can vary. Merodim supplies the file and does not place or fulfill a local retailer print order for you.

Is the cheapest photo package always the cheapest option?

Compare what is included. A lower price for two prints may not include a digital file, while an online file purchase may still require you to pay for local printing. Choose the combination your application actually needs.
