Convert inches to pixelsThis is how much storage the file uses. Here, 1 KB means 1,000 bytes. Some portals use 1,024-byte units instead, so leave space below a stated upload limit.
Reduce an oversized fileThe checker reads the image type from the file, not just its name. Renaming photo.png to photo.jpg does not convert it to JPEG. Export it in the format your application requests.
Resize or convert to JPEGThe right number of pixels cannot establish a suitable pose, a clear face or the correct head size. This tool reads file properties. It does not measure facial features or certify a photo for submission.
If a portal rejects your file, first distinguish a technical upload error from a photo-quality problem. Converting or compressing a file may fix an unsupported format or excessive file size. It will not fix glare across the eyes or a face that is out of focus.
The selected file is opened locally by the browser. This checker does not upload it, save a copy on our servers or change the original. Choosing another file replaces the displayed results.
Keep the original camera file when preparing an application. Make resized or compressed copies from it, and compare the final copy against the original before submitting.
