Photo processing
When you request a preview, your browser prepares a smaller copy of your photo and sends it to the preview service. The service uses it to detect the face and prepare the requested framing. Keep your original photograph on your own device.
Your preview
Uploaded preview photos are stored temporarily in private cloud storage so the preview service can process them. These uploads are covered by a one-day expiration rule. Storage cleanup runs asynchronously, so this is not a promise of deletion exactly 24 hours after upload. Keep your original photograph on your own device.
Free browser photo tools
The photo size checker, resizer and compressor work locally in your browser. They read file properties or create a downloadable copy on your device. Selecting a file in these tools does not upload it to Merodim. This is separate from the Create photo flow, which sends an image for processing.
Purchased photos and accounts
Purchased photo files and order details are stored so we can fulfill your order and provide repeat downloads. An account links purchases to your email address. Physical orders also require a delivery address. These records are separate from temporary preview uploads and are not removed by the preview upload expiration rule.
Service activity
We record preview times, selected document formats, processing duration and whether a preview completed, needed a retake or encountered an error. Detailed preview activity has a 30-day expiration setting; aggregate counts are retained. Preview limits use a hashed network address. These operational records help us run the service and control misuse.
Information you share
Provide only the information needed for your request. Do not send passport numbers, copies of identity documents or card information through the contact form. If you need help with a photo, describe the issue and include your order reference.
Questions about your information
Contact Merodim if you have a question about the information you share or how your photo is processed. The privacy information for any payment service will be shown as part of its checkout.
